On October 16, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment assigned the Faculty of Marine and Resources Management, Faculty of Environment to coordinate with the Department of Science, Technology and External Relations to organize the seminar on “Building The network among Vietnamese Partnerships in implementation of ERASMUS + Funded Projects ” at the meeting room A in response to the #Erasmusdays 2020. The seminar was held in two forms: live and online.
Attending the seminar, on the side of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment, there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Quyen – Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thi Thanh Van – Head of Science, Technology and External Relations Department; Dr.. Le Thi Kim Thoa – Deputy head of the Department of Marine and Resources Management and the leading staff and lecturers of the university. The seminar was honored to welcome delegates from 21 universities and research institutes across the country: University of Social Sciences and Humanities – VNU HCMC; University of Natural Sciences – VNU HCMC; University of Technology – VNU HCMC; University of Economics and Law – VNU-HCM; Ho Chi Minh City Open University; An Giang University – VNU HCMC; Vietnam Maritime University; Thai Nguyen University of Technology; Can Tho University; University of Economics, Hue University; Van Lang University; Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy; Thuy Loi university; VNU University of Science – VNU; Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry; Institute of Environmental sciences and Technology – Hanoi University of Technology; Hanoi University of Mining and Geology; Hanoi Architectural University; University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City; Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport ; Institute of Oceanography.
Opening the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Quyen – Rector of the University welcomes delegates from universities and research institutes that have been implementing projects sponsored by ERASMUS. He emphasized the need to build networks connecting universities and research institutes to enhance cooperation, sharing and support in the implementation of ERASMUS-funded projects. He hopes that through this seminar, Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment and the project implementation partners will become extensive strategic partnership in a more comprehensive and meaningful manner.
The representatives of universities and research institutes in turn presented projects sponsored by ERASMUS plus.
Dr. Le Thi Kim Thoa, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Marine and Resources Management, chair of the seminar invited representatives of universities and research institutes to exchange and share implementation results, as well as their experiences in the implementation of projects funded by ERASMUS.
Representatives of universities and research institutes discussed and shared experiences in implementing projects that have been implemented.
After the discussion among partnerships, the delegates agreed on some of the following issues:
1. The need to build among Vietnamese Partnerships in implementation of ERASMUS + Funded Projects to share experience as well as support each other so that all projects can be completed with the highest efficiency and distance. Moreover, it opens a direction for extensive cooperation in the coming time.
2. Using annual ERASMUS day is the day when partners gather, share experiences. The seminar organizers are very happy when many universities/ Institutes agree to cooperate with the University of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City to organize ERASMUS DAYS in the coming years. This is the second success of the seminar today. And we hope that in the following years, this ERASMUSDAYS event will attract more partnerships to participate.
3. The results of the seminar today are not only about exchanging and sharing experiences of ERASMUS + Funded Projects implementation, but all of us have agreed to create the “online proceeding”. All deletgates agreed, each partnerships will design the content of their university within 2 pages of A4 paper in English language in which introduce the Univesity and its ERASMUS + Funded Projects. The deadline for submittion to the Organizer – Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment is October 26, 2020. The seminar Organizer will edit, post in ERASMUSDAYS website and share it with all participants.
