Prof. Dr. Igor had emphasised the actual situation of all work packages from all partners involved in the project. In which,
WP2.1. Revision of existing and development of new BSc/MSc courses
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PgW_UOnapOSHIC7Ollr-MBWu2TiuIZJijPHbfMTYOvk/edit#gid=0
– All partners need to check the number of credits in each course. Currently, this data is inconsistent between reports.
– There is inconsistency in the use of words between partners. For example, some partners use the term course summary and others use the phrase course presentation.
– Course presentation/summary is missing: CTU (all courses)
– TLM Presentation is missing: VNIO (Marine ecology); UTM (all courses),
– E-learning Presentation is missing: VNIO (marine ecology).
– No evaluation of e-learning and TLM presentations. The abstracts are not checked by EU partners
– There is no number of the % of the updated courses: CTU
– Link to the university website with information for enrolment in the courses: UMT
– Some of the elective courses were not given at all, by some of them there are very few students.

Prof. Prof. Dr. Igor suggested that PIs give not the numbers of students/course, but numbers of students/year for the study program.
WP2.2. Development of PhD research framework
All partners need to update information as follows (if any missing):
– A short explanation about how PhD training is organised within a partner (organisational structure, important components)
– List of PhD students
– List of supervisors by research fields with profiles attached
– List of Research topics with links to ongoing or past projects, where relevant
– List of the conferences recurrently organised by a partner
– List of scientific resources maintained by a partner
– List of escience tools

Prof. Dr. Igor emphasised on the need for strengthening ongoing research and PhD training at the partner institutions, in terms of topics and directions; identified the need for partnerships. All universities, having PhD students contribute with their experiences- NGO –Stakeholders contribute if possible. Define learning outcomes.
WP2.3. Summer schools and on-site seminars for faculty and PhD students
Each partners need to update the following information on the University/ Institute website

  • Plan for these events No of participants, location
    – Program of the trainings events
    – Description of selection procedure for the participants
    – Report on the selection of participants
    – TLM
    – For those organising and attending the seminar or summer school.

    – Training course: ECTS Certificate

WP3.1. Deployment and implementation of elearning platform
All partners need to send the updated report on the study activities and work of the students and researchers with the equipment (UTP, UTM, UMT, UniKL, HCMUNRE, VMU, CTU)

WP3.2. Development of eLearning modules
PCs were promised to do as follows:

  • The PC Universities develop the elearning modules for the courses, Video lectures (not yet), presentations, assessments and tests.
  • NGO are involved in testing of the modules (not yet)

Prof. Dr. Igor suggested that we have elearning modules and presentations for them for all courses. We should give access to these modules in the report.

P5 HCMUNRE has some additional courses in the Elearning modules. To report them as project results we need abstracts and Presentations in EN with Logos.

WP3.3. Development of eScience modules for doctoral students
All PCs need to complete the ePortfolio of their PhD students. Template is sent by Prof.Dr. Kalev.

WP3.4. One summer school and 3 on-site seminars for faculty, technicians, and administrators

  • Partners sent students to summer school need to have the description of the selection procedure of the participants of the training; outcomes of the selection.
  • All partners organised the training events need to send/report/post the TLM of the training (UTP, UniKL, EMU, UniCT, UMT)

WP4.2. Development of arrangements for credit and physical mobility, sharing of experimental facilities, joint MSc & PhD supervision and research collaboration
MoU within PCs stakeholders and outsiders. There is the urgent need for preparation of the cooperation agreements between EU and PC universities; between PC universities, between PC universities and NGO.

WP5.3. QA of staff development, IT deployment & dissemination

Those partners who take charge of QA need to report on staff development (summary and conclusions from the questionnaires during the training events and summer schools) and evaluation of dissemination activities through the whole project period.

WP6.1. Development and maintenance of social media accounts and promotion plan

Video clips with the information about the work on the project at their institutions. Some partners have been registered to produce the video clip and upload them to social media for promotion (UTP, UniKL, HCMUNRE, CTU, VMU?, UMT?, UTM?).

WP6.3. Organisation of  business-academy conferences

  • All partners participate in the conference need to submit the abstracts; Publications

After that, all participants discussed the activities of these WP and distributed the first tasks and set the deadlines.
Relating to WP4.2. Dr. Thoa – HCMUNRE suggested that after this meeting, PCs need to prepare the MoU and organise the webinar for exchange of research using SUMARE forum which have been developed by HCMUNRE – P5 partner. All partners are requested to present at least one time. Each PI sends the topic to HCMUNRE (Thoa) for setting up the agenda and date for the webinar.

Dr. Le Thi Kim Thoa- HCMUNRE discussed and proposed solutions during the meeting

Based on the WP6.1. Development and maintenance of social media accounts and promotion plan, Dr. Anton suggested that not only those who develop courses to produce the video clips for promotion but also EU partners who gave the lectures to the training/ summer schools also need to produce the video clips (from 6 up to 10 min video length) for uploading social media.

Prof. Dr. Igor emphasised that without prejudice to the right to terminate the grant, the Agency may also apply a 20% reduction rate on the maximum amount of the grant if there has been a breach of obligation under the Grant Agreement. This is especially relevant in cases of non-compliance with the obligation of visibility of Union funding set out in Article II.8, which constitutes a substantial obligation.
